What is a continuous carbonization furnace?
The continuous carbonization furnace adopts advanced smokeless and environmentally friendly carbonization technology and is a new type of rapid carbonization, efficient, and energy-saving equipment.

Structural composition
1. The whole set of equipment consists of a gasification system (gasification furnace, spray tower, and dust collector);
2. Purification system (spray tower, oil-water separator, filter);
3. Carbonization system (carbonization main machine, screw feeder, screw feeder, cooling discharging machine, conveyor, finished product cooling bin);
4. Control system (control cabinet).
Raw materials and carbonized products used
The primary raw materials suitable for a continuous carbonization machine consist of sawdust, hemp stalks, fruit shells, rice husks, and similar substances with a diameter ranging from 2 mm to 20 mm. Materials exceeding 20 mm in diameter must be crushed prior to carbonization.

Machine Features and Advantages
1. High production efficiency:
Continuous operation: It can achieve 24-hour uninterrupted operation, feeding and discharging at the same time, without waiting for cooling, discharging, loading, and other processes after completing a furnace of carbonization like an intermittent carbonization furnace, which greatly saves time and improves production efficiency. For example, for the processing of materials such as straw, the processing capacity of the continuous carbonization furnace per hour is much higher than that of the intermittent carbonization furnace, which can meet the needs of large-scale production.
Fast carbonization speed: During the rotation process, the entire carbonization furnace can be evenly heated, so that the material is evenly heated, which speeds up the carbonization reaction. Compared with the slow heat transfer and uneven heating of the fixed carbonization furnace, the continuous carbonization furnace can complete the carbonization process in a shorter time.
2. Efficient energy utilization:
Heat recovery and utilization: It can recover, purify, and circulate the combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, and oxygen generated during the carbonization process, which not only solves the problem of environmental pollution caused by the thick smoke generated by ordinary carbonization furnaces during the carbonization process but also makes full use of the thermal energy of these combustible gases to provide heat for the carbonization furnace itself, reducing energy consumption and improving energy utilization.
Reuse of waste heat: Some continuous carbonization furnaces can use the waste heat generated to dry materials or other links that require heating, further improving the comprehensive utilization efficiency of energy and reducing production costs.
3. Stable product quality:
Uniform carbonization: The material moves continuously in the furnace and is evenly heated, making the carbonization degree more uniform and the product quality stability high. The charcoal or carbonized product produced has high quality, such as high fixed carbon content, low ash content, high calorific value, etc., which can meet the product quality requirements of different users.
Precise control: Equipped with advanced control systems, it can accurately control parameters such as carbonization temperature, time, material feed speed, etc., and adjust according to different material and product requirements to ensure the stability and consistency of product quality.
4. Good environmental performance:
Flue gas purification treatment: Usually equipped with a complete flue gas purification system, it can effectively treat the flue gas generated during the carbonization process, remove harmful substances such as dust, tar, wood vinegar, etc. so that the discharged flue gas meets environmental protection standards and reduces pollution to the environment.
Reduce waste emissions: The continuous carbonization furnace can make full use of biomass materials such as agricultural and forestry waste for carbonization, and convert waste that may have been discarded or incinerated into valuable products, reducing waste emissions and meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
5. High degree of automation:
Easy to operate: The entire carbonization process realizes automated production and operation. You only need to set the relevant parameters and the equipment can run automatically, which greatly reduces the difficulty and labor intensity of manual operation, and reduces the errors and uncertainties caused by manual operation.
